Hometown Desserts began in 2007 as a business that sup- plied cake for family and friends. The foundation, however, was laid 50 years ago when owner, Cindy Tutterow was born into a family of southern women who loved to cook. As a child, Cindy spent many days standing in a chair, pushed up to the kitchen counter, watching as her

In the summertime, Cindy, along with her mother, grandmother and sisters would sit around the kitchen table and peel peaches in preparation for canning or grate fresh coconuts to make homemade cakes. These are the special times that shaped the enjoy- ment she has for creating her own homemade treats today.
