W Cheers!
ho would have predicted where we are now with COVID-19?
Just horrific to see what is happening worldwide with this disease and how so many have been affected by it...
Within our industry of restau- rants it has hit home as well forcing eateries
to re-think how they operate their business
and some, being unable to do so, sadly
have closed. All is not doom and gloom
though. Here in Florida at least we have
cooler winter weather to be thankful for
which is more than tolerable compared to
other regions of America and the world.
Hooray for outdoor dining! Our economy is
welcoming back tourists who want to be here and we are thankful to have them. Welcome all!
So if you can, go out, be safe where you r mask and support our local restaurants with a meal or two or three and take-out. They need you and would welcome you back for any business you can give them.
As this is our Annual Catering and Party Issue we have toned it down a bit. But there are smaller and safe events to enjoy and we invite you to be informed with our article and support these caterers and restaurants within. Things will get better.
The restaurant scene keeps growing, even in a pandemic, and there are a few to see in our New Restaurant feature. Welcome! Our Chef’s Profile features Chef Pavel Hasenohrl of Cremesh, who will tell you about his career in the biz, while Andy Abramson will help you decide which holiday wines are to be enjoyed in his wine article. Much more including our Toys for Tots Wine Dinner and a few other surprises inside this issue.
Thanks so much for supporting our publication in good and not so good times...A special and sad goodbye to a few dear friends lost recently,
Sandy Webster and Katie Clark who left us way too soon...Peace to the families...

Our cover photo desserts were as delicious as they look. It’s panna cotta, berry coulis and berries, prepared by our lovely neighbor Pat Jackson. It pays to have nice neighbors!
